Comments:    Resident fish in the creeks could not take the practice fishing pressure.
Special Tackle:  Vicious 20 lb. copolymer-spinnerbait, 15 lb. copolymer - crankbait 8 lb fluorocarbon- tube.
Highlights:
Caught many bass up to 15”. Also caught a wide variety of fish.
Places To Remember for next time:
Look for shallow rock ledges with deep-water access.
Big largemouth are still under the mats, find them!!!
Personal and Technical Entry:
Crankbait had to be crashing the rock.
Water temperature was only starting to drop recently.
Not many fish in the creeks. (Residents only)
Some fish in the eelgrass beds, spotty at best. Fish are making the transition to the creeks, moving hard and very hard to follow.
Bass were in the mix with other fish on the points. Could not really key in on one area. Some fish in the chestnut, isolated areas.
Floating eelgrass slop showed off currents along the break lines, fish were on the inside edge.
Open jig hook on tubes, matching the weight to the amount of current, in order to stay with the flow of the current and just hold the bottom. Hung up a lot, but the aggravation was worth it.
Find the rock and you found the fish.
